RESUME

EXPERIENCE

Currently I am designing games for mobile phones under my own company name of Alphamouse.I am creating the visuals using Adobe Illustrator and doing animations in Maya and Flash.

At Technicolor Interactive in Burbank, I was doing facial animation for game cinematics. Gears of War and Uncharted 2 are among the projects to which I have contributed.

At Disney Television Animation working on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as an Animator/Technical Director. Working with a variety of software packages, I am making additions and corrections to shots initiated overseas. I have addressed animation, texturing, compositing, polygonal modeling and rendering issues, broadening my skills in all these areas. My Linux skills have been greatly sharpened as well.
Software: Maya, Photoshop, Digital Fusion, Combustion, Linux.

I worked with several mobile content developers, Moket in Australia and Smashing Ideas in Portland, to create Flash animated screensavers for cell phones.

At Disney Toons in Burbank, CA, I animated Tinkerbelle contributing to a reference package produced at Disney, demonstrating animation styles and goals for an overseas production unit.

At B1 Media in Studio City California, I animated a variety of characters for the Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone video game.

At Omation in San Clemente, CA, I did animation on the Steve Oedekerk feature, Barnyard. I worked on shots with a variety of characters expressing themselves through dialog and music.
Software: Softimage XSI

At Modern VideoFilm in Burbank, CA, I worked on A Sound Of Thunder, a feature film, animating CG giant bats in over 30 shots. I supervised shot distribution among animators and wrangled issues concerning model revisions rigging.

I was employed at Sony Imageworks in Culver City, CA as an animator for feature film project, Cursed. Software: Maya.

I was a CG Animator working on feature films at Tippett Studio in Berkeley, California. I contributed to My Favorite Martian and Armageddon. Software: Softimage.

I have done character animation for Will Vinton Studios in Portland. OR, working on a series of spots for Clorox and Puffs Tissues, as well as other clients. Software: Maya.

I animated for the game cinematic: Dungeons and Dragons: The Temple of Elemental Evil at Tigar Hare Studios in Los Angeles, California. Software: 3D Studio MAX.

Before entering into the animation field, I worked as an Illustrator living in New York. My clients included Time Magazine, The New Yorker Magazine, Puffin Press, and Scholastic Magazine. My work has appeared in the Society of Illustrators annuals.

Two of my animated films were presented as outstanding examples of short animated films in Premiere Press’ Inspired 3D Short Film Production by Jeremy Cantor.
