Disney Television Animation - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Retakes Walt Disney TVA

These two clips are typical of the shots I worked on at Disney Television. Typically, an element needed to be fixed regarding animation or compositing. In the “Donald” shot I did the entire animation in Maya and recomposited the rendered elements in Combustion. In the second “Mickey” shot a number of animation fixes were required including eye movements, timing adjustments and a redo of the entire final gesture as Mickey leaves the scene. Compositing fixes including positioning of shadows and deletion of background elements, and were addressed in Digital Fusion.
Software: Maya, Photoshop, Digital Fusion, Combustion

Disney Toons - Test for Tinkerbelle Movie Walt Disney DTS

This test was created as a visual guide for the animator working overseas. I was asked to animate several scenes showing Tinkerbelle’s personality and behavior. I was given a sound track, a rigged model, and some direction as to Tinkerbelle’s typical mannerisms. I enhanced this shot with a glow and semi-transparent wings done in a compositing package.
Software: Maya, Combustion

Barnyard - The Original Party Animals Omation Studios

In the first shot, Otis, the bovine, resists hearing the news that he’s now in charge of the barnyard. I animated the foreground characters.
In the second shot Pip makes a point on the farmer’s stomach.
The “Mayhem” shot. I animated all the elements except a few groups at the far rear of the scene.
Software: Softimage XSI

A Sound of Thunder Modern VideoFilm

I animated all the bats in these shots.

My Favorite Martian Tippett Studio

Shots One and Two: I animated the “Zoot” suit character taunting the security guard. In this shot, motion capture data was supplied to me. However, to achieve the required performance, I ended up key framing much of it.

Shots Three: The Zoot character is sitting in a washing machine drinking fabric softener. The basic animation was done by another animator with whom I worked, adding fabric motion and follow through.
Software: Softimage

Puffs Tissue Will Vinton Studios
I animated everything in this shot except the water effect.
